An interesting twist!
I'm enjoying a peek into medieval lifestyle, customs and beliefs via the Elizabethian Mystery series. Mr. Tourney combines his knowledge of the period with enough of today's attitudes that the stories remain interesting and engaging. As I've been reading this series and a couple of other medievally set historical fiction mysteries I've wondered about some of the crimes we're afflicted with today and this story has incorporated some of these questions. Of course it's full of our typical human failings, greed, lust, anger, jealousy and revenge, but it's packs a punch and a provides that twist I've been wondering about. Enjoy!
