I've just started working with Knifty Knitter looms this summer and have successfully made a few hats with the round loom.  Now I'm in the process of making a blanket from one of the booklets using the long loom, but I'm now stuck.  It says to crochet off the loom using a looser finish.  The directions in the booklet don't make a lot of sense to me, and I've tried looking it up online without much clarification (I could only find 1 video using the round loom and that doesn't really help me because the placement of the pegs is different since the long loom has those 2 ends to deal with).  Does anyone have any advice for how to do this? (I have no crochet experience so that could be part of the problem).

The pattern comes from the ProvoCraft Knitting Afghans with Knifty Knitter on page 8 if that helps.

I have crochet off the loom.  It's not that hard, but knowing how to crochet is a huge help.  You could try sewing it off, but I don't know how successful that would be.  I hope other people chime in.

I also recently took up loom knitting, and don't have much crochet experience. In this video he's making a scarf but I imagine that you could use this technique as well since you're using the same loom. Hope this helps!! Youtube has lots of cool patterns and project ideas.
