I'm nearly finished with this one(but skipped ahead to find out the ending LOL!) it's a nice story. not so much a romance as a woman being dumped for a pregnant other woman who inherits a yarn shop from her mom she barely remembers and tries to make a go of the shop(she doesn't know how to knit!) and deal with finding out who her mom really was and why she abandoned her and also dealing with a 14 yr old that after once scene in the book I would've been arrested for child abuse for sure! can't believe that scene..actually 2 scenes with the daughter made me glad I don't have kids LOL! of course there's a man who shows up but the book doesn't focus on the sex. I like this one but I also like crochet (though this is knitting)and this kind of plot (where the person remembers bits and pieces and tries to put together what happened, etc) Ijust wish the mom hadn't died before they could reconcile...

This was a good read. I enjoyed that while it was predictable at times, other things blew me away. I like that I laughed and teared up a bit while reading. I like that it showed imperfect people stepping up and doing well, as well as continuing to make mistakes. All in all, a good, quick read.
