A very entertaining book of the saga one woman undergoes while learning to knit. There are no actual patterns in this book, but it is a wonderful tale of why people knit and their different philosophies.

As an advanced beginner but LOVER of all things knit, it was lovely to hear stories and get some resources from others who love this craft as well..Not an exciting read but lovely to add to your feeling of understanding and love of the craft and how people come to it, embrace it, and carry it on..

This is delicious reading for any addicted knitter! The author interviews other knitters, and asks about their beginnings as knitters, as well as their inspirations. Such issues are discussed as therapeutic knitting, yarn sale frenzy, frogging, dyeing, etc.

Nice collection of short writings but of uneven quality. I kep t the book because some of the essays are very good.

Very interesting book of short stories about knitting. Lots of different views. I am 3/4 through the book so a bit more to enjoy.
It is not a book of teaching how to knit in any way. The title is
telling a lot of history on knitting.
