N older title, but perfect for the beginner. a "Failure Proof method for learning the basic stitches" (so says the blurb on the back of the book. There are also directions for more complicated techniques. Step by step instructions, and each chapter has simple items that can be made using the things learned in that chapter, and previous ones. A great guide for the newbie knitter! (Knewbie Knitter?)
