Attention grabbing, hard hitting, full of action but a reconnecting old childhood friends brought together by coincidence. Jamie and Ally where friend when they were kids and each one came a messed up family, Jamie came from parents that disliked him and called him a mistake and Ally had to deal with her father always beating on her mother and sometimes her. Jamie was there for her when things got bad with the beatings started, until he was arrested from attempted murder then the two friends wont see each other for years. When they do their old feelings come back more then ever.. I had no problems reading or getting into this story it was like you were there at Jamie's fights and experiencing their connection throughout there story.
