I bought a new kit today. It's for knitting with crochet hooks or knooking. It looks interesting. I've wanted to try to knit some hunting socks since the ones I get at the store don't keep my feet warm and don't last long. And crocheting really doesn't work for socks for me anyway. So this will be the second project on the black yarn that I bought. The first is to finish off the hip length, sweatshirt sleeved sweater I'm going in burgandy with black rib-knit styled cuffs and hem. Has anyone else tried this? How did it go? I've always known that chain stitch is much easier to do and works as a cast on row, but the stockinette stitch? This should be fun. I love learning new things. |

Hi Tammy I just got my knook yesterday. It does look interesting and I want to knook something soon. But I've been so busy with other projects I don't know when I will get to this. Hopefully soon. I looked on utube and see it's really not that hard to do. When I complete a project with this I will let you know how it came out and send a pic. I'll also but it on my etsy site. I can't wait. Have you ever tried doing the crocodile stitch? I have the book on it and I know it most likely will be easy to do, but the instructions I find kind of hard to follow. That will be for another time though. Mary Alice (mzbellz) |
