I read this book about 35 years ago. I remember part of the story, but not the title or author. In the story a guy signs up to be part of a time travel experiment. He is given his instructions and then goes to a very old hotel. When he awakens, he has traveled back into time...about a hundred years ago. He gets acquainted with some of the other lodgers in the hotel. They go out for a sleigh ride. And here's the part I'm most interested in: The author does a wonderful job of describing the ride, especially the sound the sleigh runners make in the snow. I would be most grateful to find this book again! Thanks. (Penny B.)

It sounds to me like Bid Time Return by Richard Matheson. It includes a hotel, falling asleep, and waking up in the past. It was the basis for the Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour film Somewhere In Time, which is apparently now used as the title for recent editions of the book. |

I cannot find the title/author, information.
Seems like "64" was part of the title. I looked it up that day, and Amazon Vine gave it a full 5.0 Starr'd review (plural). I 'believe' there was talk, if not more, of making it into a movie. anyway, it is NEW or newer published . Vine reviews books already available.
