to offer a heavily wish-listed book on the Bazaar rather than through the regular system?  It is currently going through it's fourth wish list 48 hour hold.  I am getting tired of waiting form someone to accept the wish list and am ready to list it on the Bazaar to find someone who really wants it without having to go through all this waiting.  I am very low on credits and don't ant to wait any longer.

Katie,

It is only kosher if you are offering multiples to save on shipping.  There is a thread @@@AUGUST WISHLISTED MULTIPLES ONLY@@@PLEASE SEE RULES:   Otherwise, it should go through the system.

The only other issue would be that unless you put your account on hold that book is stuck in the WL cycle.

You can offer it in the Genre Forums, too, Katie, if it fits one of them.

ETA:  I'm fairly active in the Paranormal & YA forums, which have WL threads for the exact purpose you're wanting & I know that Love & Romance and Mystery have similar threads 'cause I've used them in the past.  The great thing is people already have the book on their WL's or add it & you ask for it to be on Automatic Request -- voila, you're done within moments. Good luck!   :-)

You can't stop it cycling unless you go on vacation hold.  So next time it's about to time out-go on vacation then offer it in the genre thread.  i've done that before when I've had one cycling through wishers and other books to mail.

The Genre threads are the only option for offering one Wish Listed book. Outside of the Multiples thread it is banned in the Bazaar:

General Rules in the Book Bazaar: (in the red sticky at the top of the forum "How to use this forum...")

(6) No trying to jump the Wish List "line" by offering or asking for postable Wish Listed books.  Postable Wish Listed books should be posted and swapped "officially".  This of course does not apply to posts advertising an alternate ISBN  (or non-ISBN version) of a Wish Listed title; it is fine to advertise that you have those posted to your bookshelf.
