As a public teacher starting my 30th year, I want to take a minute and say kudos to you that do homeschool and do it with a passion that enables the child to have an individualized curriculum.  I taught last year and homeschooled in the evening.  I was thrown into the homeschool situation and found it hard to get started and keep up with the work needed to be completed for my homeschooler.  (I teach 2nd grade and was homeschooling an 11th grader.) With only about a week to prepare my homeschooling, I always felt like a hamster on a tilt-a-whirl.  However, I can say we finished the 11th grade requirements and she is back in school for her senior year.  I was estatic to be offered a full time job working with homeschoolers after I turned in my paperwork, but I wouldn't take the job as I want to be with my little guys and gals.

So kudos to you that do homeschool and do it with a passion that enables the child to have an individualized curriculum ! !!!
