LDS Adventure Stories Author:Preston Nibley Preface: The stories contained in this volume have been selected with care, principally from publications of the L.D.S. Church, both early and modern. An effort has been made to gather true stores, as truth is often stranger than fiction. However, one or two of the stories might have originated in the minds of the authors.
This volume will be found useful to teachers in day schools and church organizations where it is necessary to hold the interest of young people. Youth is always interested in the unusual; in adventures with Indians, wild animals, storms at sea or a plane trip to Alaska where the hero is saved after a disaster.
The spirit of the "old west" lives in this volume. It is a spirit that will never die.« less
