Hurrah for Griffin's Wharf!" a band of men, several of whom were disguised as Indians, proceeded, in an orderly manner, to the wharf, boarded the vessels, and deliberately burst open, with hatchets and axes, three hundred and forty-two cheses of tea, and spilled their contents into the waters below. This tea was valued at 18,000 pounds, In thie "tea-party," and one of its most active members, was Paul Revere.'
