I really enjoy the graphic that sometimes can be pulled up on an En Route to You book.

It is quite effective at conveying the info and increases my sense of American geography.    Very cool.

I also admire the programming that has gone into the site and system in general.

Is there any document that describes how the site creators came up with & developed their idea?  I'd read that.

The tracking map is indeed excellent, though not always as accurate as some of us might like. The little postal van moves gradually in the presumption that your book has similarly been traveling. All it takes is a belated DC scan near the point of origin to send it rushing back. On the upside, clicking on the van is fun (I won't spoil it if you haven't yet tried). Personally, I like the Books Recieved and Books Mailed maps on the Transaction Archive page best. They can be pretty nifty on their own, especially when you've had enough transactions to really pad those stats. There's nothing quite like taking a look at a swarm of your transactions all at once lol

James,

I had never clicked on the van.  Never thought of doing so.  So I went and tried it.  It really got my dog's attention.  I did it three times and he kept moving closer to the computer.  But there was a water bottle between him and the system and he thought it was the water bottle.
