Avenging Warrior - Logan Grey was just a boy when he barely escaped the massacre that left his family murdered. But as Castle Fulton fell, Logan was betrayed by n ally--and by his raging desire for the fiercely beautiful daughter of the enemy he had vowed to destroy...

Ravishing Prize

With breathtaking recklessness, Solace Farindale declared her hatred for Logan-than smuggled a dagger to him through the dungeon's barred door. As he made his escape, she followed, running from a forced marriage. But even a passion that bordered on madness could not keep her by Logan's side. The nobleman who claimed Solace as the spoils of war is determined to have her, and Logan must risk his life for the seductive beauty who ignited a passion more perilous than war...

In a word, "HOT!" Most historical romances tend to be predictable and you want to strangle the main characters! He THINKS she did this. She THINKS he did that.
In this one, she is innocent and smart. She is Lady Solace Farindale. When the castle is under siege, she keeps all together waiting for her father to come home and crush the army sitting outside the castle walls. Her step-mother is a monster inside. Her sister is just as wicked.

He pretends to be a Falconer. He is really the son of the man who once owned the castle. Logan Grey was back to find his brother, unknowing he was now one of Solace's trusted guards. Once he realises his brother is content and wants no revenge, Logan throws open the castlegates and lets the army inside. No matter he cared for Solace. No matter she had trusted him. No matter she stood up to her step-mother for him. No matter she helped him escapes from the dungeon. He betrayed her.

The author makes this story very unpredictable! You will not be bored! I watched Solace grow up quickly, her trust destoyed when she watched her step-mother killed before her eyes. I watched as Logan felt betrayal as the leader of the army kept the castle, instead of turning it over to Logan. Wonderful book! Well written! Exciting!
