Her problem is - if she betrays her awful, abusive, murdering father, she herself is ruined; what a cunundrum. Thank goodness for heroes, saving the heroine and saving the day.
When dashing Josce FitzBaldwin gallops into Knabwell in search of revenge, he never expects to find... a bride! The beauty and grace of Elianne du Hommet-the penniless daughter of the local sheriff-entices Josce as no woman's charms have ever done...and renders weak a warrior renowned for his strength.
