Minnesota author who is also an attorney writes of North Shore area and of Montana Mountains, woman county sheriff, Native Americans and Mormon fundamentalist zealots. Fast pace story with twists and turns that surprise the reader at times (stretch common sense also at times)but still fine to read. Writing style can sometimes seem like reading a business memo.
