Good short heart warming story of a simpler time--when life on the prairie meant dreaming of a life worth living.

Jed Carlson is a simple man who is not interested in making new friends, learning new crafts or seeing the world. His prairie holds enough excitement for his life and he's satisfied until Rose appears. With her long auburn hair and humble smile, she quickly changes his mind. After she helps Jed during a family crisis, he can't help but spend all of his spare time with Rose. They quickly fall in love and suddenly Jed is looking forward to a new life, full of love, laughter and even a family of his own.

All of that vanishes when Rose leaves town to care for her ailing parents. Without her Jed falls back into his old life and withdraws from town and his family. He just cannot move on without her. Is all lost as he pines for Rose or will he find a way to move forward without the love of his life?
