Book one of this series, sets the scene for the Chadwick Family's wagon train experience to Montana and the life and death of several family members. I find these kind of settlers journeys to the west fascinating.

This book, as well as the entire series is excellent! Very well written, and the characters are so real you feel like you know them. Tracie Peterson definitely outdid herself on this series! I would HIGHLY recommend!
I really enjoyed this book. So much I was walking around my house doing chores with it in my hand so I could keep reading! Very real story, great characters, lots of emotions. I'm on to the next in the series for sure!
Another excellent book by Tracie Peterson. This is a heartwarming series of the Chadwick family who make their way to the Montana Territory. I felt like I was with them the entire step of the way. A must read! You won't want to put the series down.
