It was ok. I had high hopes for this book and for Jonathan Carroll as an author. The story was kind of fun, but I found myself never really caring about the characters. A lot of people find a lot of merit in Carroll's books though, so you may want to judge for yourself

Lovely, inspired fiction by Carroll. This book blends the fantastic with the real while telling the story of a biographer and his girlfriend on a trip to a strange town. The ending was anything but expected!

Bizarre! Darkly humorous and very clever. I will never look at a bull terrier the same way! I did enjoy this book but any description will be a spoiler. Very surprise ending, which is a credit to all authors.
