If you are a Doris Lessing fan you will like this book. It's the 4th of the Children of Violence series and follows Martha Quest who is married to one of the leaders of Africa's communist movement. You get a real taste of Africa on a personal day-to-day level as well as a sense of the struggles Martha goes through as her marriage begins to disintegrate. A really worthwhile and fascinating book!
