One of the best historical fictions I have read in a long time, sorry that I waited so long to take it off the shelf. Priscilla Stone Sharp takes some of what she has learned of her early ancestors and uses it to weave a wonderful story of one of the first early interracial marriages, the Quakers, and the community in which the family lived, and more often than not thrived, amongst their neighbors and the ever changing political times.
