Good day.

I have received several large books that were only wrapped in brown paper.  Today I heard from a realative I send books to and the book I had sent to her (over 750 pages) arrived wrapped only in brown paper, and of course, the corners were bashed up.    Please, when shipping large hardcovers protect the corners or wrap the whole book in bubble wrap or even cover the edges with cardboard.

have you addressed this with those that sent the books?  many do not read the forums so it is likely that they won't see this.

depending on the book (HB) I will ship it either in a box or a padded envelope.

Since this is not in the guidelines, I'm sure many people don't know and like Leslie said, there are lots that don't read the forums.

Have you thought about creating an RC that states you would like extra padding for HCs?
