Is there such a thing???? Really??? I have now purchased and been refunded for four, yes four, copies of this book listed on Amazon as large print! Does anyone here truly have a LP copy of Heart of the West by Penelope Wiliamson? |

I think you have the only one in captivity. I will keep trying. Plan on swapping or selling yours? I would love to make a deal for a LP copy. |

That is exactly the listing on Amazon that I bought four of them that were not large print!!!!! The isbn is the same as the LP bookclub edition. and I think the publisher is the same Simon and Schuster. Is that who published your Large Print, MargaretM..? I just ordered a copy from AbeBooks online. The key to the order for me was knowing that the LP copy has 1.043 pages! and the seller specifically said this copy is LARGE PRINT and has 1.043 pages. I think Amazon is going to be the source of Last resort for LP books for me from now on. I just don't think they are requiring that the sellers be specific enough in the descriptions of the books. People list books as Like New that have water damage, split spines and really yellowed pages. I would probably buy the book anyway if I still knew the condition was not good, but to lie about it drives me nuts. Anyway, we shall see......... An hour or so later - the request was canceled by the bookseller. They just don't have it in stock anymore....oh, well. Last Edited on: 9/13/11 4:36 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

Love the answers I am getting from the booksellers: here is an example of how helpful they are being........
The customer wrote the following message: Their answer: Hello , Thank you for your email. On our website, along with the book are details and information as to how many copies we have in stock. All information available to us, is listed on the website. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions or concerns. So the answer is 'We have no idea.' LOL
