Absolutely one of the worst books I have ever read. The plot was stupid, the characters were bland and the writing style was boring and stuffy. Awful. Horrible.

Don't stop to ask questions, just kick back and ENJOY!! This is one funny book. Maggie Davis aka Katherine Deauxville is a charming lady and a wonderful artist, and both show in the warm and funny tale of 29 year old Dr. Peter Havistock who announces to the world he is a virgin looking for a wife. When he was not yet 15, the plane carrying his parents and him crash land in the jungle of New Guinea. For the next 14 years, he lives with the tribe that rescued him. However, since they deemed him their 'golden god' they would not permit him to marry within their tribe. Also, they had high moral standards, so he is now nearly 30 and a virgin. He is a profession of anthropology and in on a book tour of college campuses to promote his story and the lives of the tribe that raised him. And he has a very attention catching style that is fanning the flames of press and women alive.
Leslie Wimberly is in charge of handling the book tour. A beautiful 34 year old divorce, she is finding the Professor a big more than she can handle. From his G string demonstration of authentic native gab, to defending him from mobs of women, to the announcing he has never been kissed before, leaves her running in circles.
It is fast pasted, funny and absolute laugh out loud riot.
So if you need a pick me up...a cheer to your weekend....this is the tonic!!!

The book is about a brilliant man who is trying to help his adoptive tribe survive the modern world. In order to do so he has to get married and has choosen a woman from a affluent background, who is struggling to stand on her own two feet and find her own place in the world. Fairly typical story of gorgeous man coming into the life of an unstable needy woman and the man fighting an uphill battle against the woman because she cant let go of her percious control and just trust love. I started to read this book with high hopes, but unfortunately was disappointed. I found the plot and the characters lacking. There were funny parts in the story and the writing style was smooth....the overall effect was not entertaining.
