John Webster will more than likely die tomorrow in the hot Cuban morning, his life will be cut short by the executioner, punishment for th emurder of a teenage boy. Late at night in his cellin a decaying Cuban prison, the young American begins to assemble the letter he has been working on for months in impassioned fragments. He struggles with his memories to create an accounting for his athletic Cuban lover that will cut throught the lies the two have been forced to tell about each other by the authorities and that will help John reach a state of clarity, if not peace. As his death draws near, he struggles to pen his thoughts of how a passionate and spontaneous love begun at at embassy party in New York ends in Castro's Cuba in a whirlwind of jealousy and violence. John struggles to justify his actions to his beloved Eduardo. A universal drama of love won and lost.
