Tells the story of the Plantagenets from the birth of Richard II, son of Edward the Black Prince,in 1367 to the death of the most reviled of all English kings, Richard III in 1485. This was a turbulent time in English history. There were peasant revolts, Civil War, and the murder of innocent young boys whose only offense was being heir to the throne.

It's a fast moving book - at times a little too fast. It's easy to get kind of lost amongst all those Richards and Edwards and Henrys. But the topic is engaging and the writing is light and easy to absorb. A fun read for anyone interested in the topic.
