I love, love, love this book! I resented the real life interruptions that pulled me away. I just wanted to keep reading. I enjoyed so much about this book, but the best part is the protagonist, Hank Palace. He is endearing, quirky, and sometimes, just hysterical. It's a good story. I didn't solve the mystery, had no idea how it would play out. The world and the characters are all interesting. My only complaint is I am left really wanting to read the next book and can't get my hands on it fast enough! I will miss Mr. Palace so much until then and I can't wait to see what happens next!

I really like end of the world/civilization stories. This is a good scenario. However, I would prefer more detail about the developing asteroid crisis and less about the fixation of the young officer.
