This is the BEST nonfiction book I have encountered. It is a RIVETING nonfiction account of a girl who was raised by mentally ill parents and lived a life where nothing made sense. When she reaches out to social services, things get twisted and she falls through horrendous cracks. The book shows a slice of life that most people never see. It is said to be a "twisted anne frank", and it raises many questions about what happens to the children of the mentally ill.
