The Lawman Gets Lucky:

Life was blissful for Sheriff Reno Best in Bliss, Colorado. He spent his days checking out fender benders and barroom brawls. So he didn't exactly jump to it when the new schoolteacher, Annie Benton, insisted her brother was missing. To humor her, Reno finally agreed to investigate, and --out of habit--turned on the charm. Except after one kiss, he detected that under her plain-Jane wrapping was a passionate woman...A woman he intended to fully unwrap if luck stayed with him!

Beauty and the Bet:

Jack Fortunato couldn't resist this "challenge"--friends bet him he couldn't seduce a plain woman as quickly as he reeled in his usual beauties. Little did he know the "plain" woman--Marsha--was knockout Heather Brannen in disguise, and Heather was an expert when it came to spurning men's advances. But when Jack actually started falling for the drab and dowdy Marsha, Heather was in a quandry--how could she be insanely jealous of herself?
