This was neat! Its very early Warren Ellis, in fact I think it may be his first published work. Anyway, its darkly funny and I enjoyed it for the ideas, as well as seeing Ellis using things for the first time - from concepts to phrases.
What's it about? Well, its about the involuntarily immortal Lazarus Churchyard and his adventures in the 25th century as it seems Earth as winding down. It features the bizarre, the weird and the amusing. I'd suggest it for folks that are fans and like the occasional mad beautiful idea.
