I have always loved the stories of King Arthur, and this book is a great introduction to the original Arthurian legend. The book is somewhat abridged, (the entire work generally appears in 3 volumes) but it more than adequately relates the original Arthurian legend. In addition, this copy offers a "Reader's Supplement" section. It's a really nice compact Morte. 1st printing, 1966.
