This is an amazingly easy book that guides you in making beautiful quilt! I got it for my teen daughters to make a quilt for a school project. It is also appropriate for adults. Lots of color pictures.

This is a practical guide to quilting, with step-by-step instructions and photographs throughout. Original projects for the beginner, from a baby's crib quilt to an eyecatching throw. Easy to use with clear instructions, colorful diagrams, and attractive color photography. "Throughout the book I have tried to offer helpful tips, gleaned from my 20-plus years of experience. By that I do not mean to imply that I am an "expert." I still make mistakes, just different ones now, and usually more complicated to correct. But it is the quiet satisfaction of working with my hands in such a tactile craft, and the joy of seeing an idea made real in beautiful fabrics and textured stitches, that has kept me quilting through thick and thin. It is a journey of discovery; some of us are just a little bit farther along the road than others. So consider this book your traveler's guide and wave to me as you go past. Happy quilting, and may you never have to unpick a stitch!" author Sharon Chambers
