This book addresses students who not-learn information. It is vastly different than the issue of failure to learn. I found it very informative moving. I teach at an Alternative Community School and the essay really made me think. There are serious equity and race issues in our district- under represented minorities and many recent immigrants. I highly recommend this book.

Very interesting premise and insights. A must read for anyone who deals with kids.
