  When did the flowers
Fade to dust before our eyes?
A lotus drifting
On the early morning tide
Float up the river
To a shore where we could hide
I watched the flowers
Fade to dust before my eyes.

It wasn’t hope that
Kept me coming home to you.
There were just moments;
When we touched I always knew.
What chance had written
What our fates had led us to….
I knew right then I’d
Keep on coming home to you

There’s not a moment
I can find
There are no dreams you
Left behind
In broken pieces
Of my mind
There are no dreams you
Left behind

Take back the anger
Take back every little pain.
And I’ll remember
How we fell in love again.
A silent wonder
Deep inside I will attain.
Take back my anger
Hope you never feel my pain.

Wrap me in shadow
When your arms can’t hold me tight
And let the moonlight
Kiss my lips for you at night
It isn’t easy
No, my love, it isn’t right
I’m wrapped in shadows
While I need your arms tonight

There’s not a moment
I can find
There are no dreams you
Left behind
In broken pieces
Of my mind
There are no dreams you
Left behind

There’s nothing left that
I can find
But empty dreams you
Left behind
Like shattered pieces
Of my mind
There’s only me you’ve
Left behind

It's actually been done and posted at jamwave.com by a friend (Rinyville). Not exactly as I'd have done it...but beautiful. Thank you.
