The next Left Coast Crime mystery convention will meet in Sacramento CA from March 29 to April 1.  Just Google Left Coast Crime 2012 for more information.  Mystery conventions are fun.  John Lescroart and Jacqueline Winspear will be guests of honor, but many more authors will attend.  Look at the list of attendees to see who has registered so far.  The green names are the authors.  Left Coast Crime 2013 will take place in Colorado Springs.

My husband and I are talking of going to the ThrillerFest in NYC this July. It does look like a lot of fun and a lot of great authors are going to be there. Unfortunately, left coast is a bit out of our way. :)

I've never been to a convention like this before though I've thought about it.  I was actually in Santa Fe for the last day (nothing was going on...just packing up) of the Left Coast Con last year.  Sacramento is too far for me this year but Colorado Springs is just an hour away so I might consider that one!

I live in Sacramento...thought about attending, but after checking out the price, decided I'd rather spend my $250 for a full pass (or $75 for a day pass) on books to read!!
