I used this book for my Intro to Legal Research Class. It is good on the topic and walks through all the steps, however some of the examples require more legal knowledge than I expected. I took it my senior year, so I had the knowledge and did ok, but some of the first years struggled to understand the concepts and the legal research teacher struggled to explain them since they didnt have the background or terminology to understand it. I wouldnt suggest it for a person with no legal knowledge. As a comprehensive walk through legal research it is pretty good.
