I did not like the heroine of this novel at all. The writing was your typical Nan Ryan fare of risque sex scenes in abundance but I felt the story lacked distinction from her previous novels. Indeed, several scenes were reminiscent of her other novels, to put it mildly. Honestly, how many times do you get stuck alone with your love interest in a niche in a canyon wall in the middle of a blinding rain storm for hours?
