This is an older hard to find leisure arts publication. It is an unusual cross stitch book. All patterns have a guide but the actual pattern is in color. I like this better than black and white as it is easier to follow. Each letter has a child boy or girl doing something and it is incorporated into the letter. There is an alphabet for boys and one for girls. On each letter is also a small design repeated. For example the letter "N" for a little girl has a little girl kneeling at her bed in prayer. The letter "J" for a little boy has a little boy fishing.
These are really cute and lots of bright colors and none would I consider difficult.
These would be so cute to do a childs name, put their initial on clothing, book bags, pillows and more.
I really liked this book but am not doing the cross stitch I used to or I would keep it.
