Ingredients
  • Cake flour 3 cups -
  • Unsalted Butter (not margarine) 1 cup -
  • Gradulated sugar 3 cups -
  • Sourcream 1 cup -
  • Baking soda 1/4 tsp -
  • Salt 1/2 tsp -
  • Vanilla extract 1 tsp -
  • lemon (fresh) 1/2 lemon (juiced & seeded) -
  • Powder sugar 2 cups -
  • Lemon extract 1 tsp -
  • eggs 6 medium -
Directions

Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

Grease and flour 10 in bundt pan

Sift together cake flour, salt and baking soda; set aside

In medium bowl cream  butter and sugar together on medium setting until fluffy and well blended

add eggs one at a time to cream mixture, add vanilla extract until blended well

add flour mixture alternating with sourcream

pour into bundt pan, bake for 60-70 mins  or until toothpick insert comes out clean

cool. for 30 mins

Lemon Glaze:

Mix powder sugar, lemon extract and lemon juice until smooth drizzle on top of poundcake once cooled.
