I may have missed it I'm so tired at the moment but I was looking for a thread for Nook and Kindle users to share their Lendable books? Has someone already started a thread for this somewhere?

I'm not talking about emailing ebooks, I mean the actual lendable books through Amazon & B&N.

I haven't seen one yet, but if you'll start one, I'll pop mine up when I get home from work. Please do one thread for Nook and one for Kindle.

You might want to check out http://bookfriend.me

It's a lending site for Nook and Kindle

Nancy: I'll see if I can get them set up today.

Sherri: I'm a member of a few different sites but I like these group setups better. I seem to find more of the books I'm looking for on these groups than on the lending sites.

I might be interested in that too. Someone at one point had a Yahoo group set up for lending.  I signed up but didn't use it much.

I use lendle.me but I have some that say they are lendable on Amazon but Lendle.me says they aren't.

I would rather offer something and have someone get a chance to read it than have a LendMe expire. I put a bunch up on Bookfriend.me but they didn't have a way to list half of the Nook books I had and although I sent out about 10, I never got one back. Which is fine as I'm glad someone got to read them, but crappy that I never got one. Also, I didn't like that I had to sign in via social media or Google. When that happens, the data is being used for something other than book swapping and I didn't care for that.

I keep getting mixed information on whether  this would be allowed on here or not so I have emailed the team to be sure before I set it up.

I use Lendle but I think I've received maybe 3 books from my list in the last year or so. With Bookfriend.me  I did not like the idea of using Facebook with it. I don't really like those social sites to begin with. The best one I've tried so far is ebookfling. It's credit based and I do find some books I'm looking for on there but the wait list is long and it's a first come first serve kind of thing when one gets added so if your not online at the time or not fast enough getting logged in you miss it. I've pretty much given up on those sites.

There are some really great groups on Goodreads for lending that I love. I just thought it would be nice to have one one here on PBS. I've been a member here for a long time but since I mostly read ebooks now I haven't been useing it much these days. I miss the site and people here.

If you're allowed to do that, I'm in.  I have a bunch of both Nook and Kindle books languishing in my archives that could be read and enjoyed by someone.

I have lots of Kindle books but they're mostly mysteries or YA. Would be interested if others had something I'd read.

BTW, there is a ebook virtual box on here (believe it's for erotica), so trading ebooks must be allowed within certain perameters.. Also, someone used to run a monthly game to get WL ebooks and I've seen an ebook swap game several times over the last year or so.
