Stone Butch Blues is my favorite book ever. No book has ever touched me as much as that one. I could go on and on about my reasons why. But, my reasoning behind this post was to ask about her other works, particularly the most recent, "Drag King Dreams." I've actually heard this is pretty terrible. I was wondering if anyone had read it? I would love to read it, but I have such high hopes after Stone Butch Blues. Maybe I should just leave it be?

i haven't read it... someone told me that it really did not compare to Stone Butch Blues which as a butch woman, i felt nauseated all the way through.... but i wouldn't give up my copy for anything...lol.

if you are interested i know a couple of other sites where you may be able to post this same topic and see if you get some other replies. but i heard that it was just more documentary and really not as heart wrenching and personal as SBB.
