Any Mark Teague-illustrated book is fun to look at. Some of it is in the same split-screen style as his other 2 books, Dear Mrs. LaRue and Detective LaRue. I find that the Larue books (and all of Mark Teague's books) are hard to do as a class read-aloud, because there is so much detail in the pictures that you have to take in to appreciate the story.
