I enjoyed this book about the people in a small town much like the town I live in.
Enjoyed this book about small town southern life.
I've had this for awhile and just got around to reading it. I enjoyed it far more than I suspected I would! Although there are many characters, they are well written and developed. The events aren't extraordinary, and although it is a bit left wing tolerance preachy, it takes these events and makes them greater than their parts.
This is a wonderfully well-crafted story of friendship over the years.
