I am ecstatic!  I have been watching and waiting in the 2+ years I got my Nook First Edition.  And finally, my public library has Overdrive book lending.  It's pretty easy to use.

They've also added e-music, magazines on Zinio, and scores of other similar services.  There are other ebook lenders besides Overdrive.  I haven't explored them yet.  I've already got 50 ebooks on my wishlist and 2 on hold :D

I love Overdrive. I get all my audiobooks from the library. I never thought I'd enjoy listening to books, but I use them all the time while walking the dog and doing housework.

Oh, I have found tons of books that I've never heard of.  It is awesome.  I got a little thrill when I got an email from the library saying my first book on hold had come up.  (Only a reader would appreciate that)

There are other ebook services, too.  I have not explored them yet.   

I feel like the bookmobile has started stopping at my house.  LOL

I think it is an awesome feature, LOVE that my library offers it too
