In her collection of prose, "On Lies, Secrets and Silence," Adrienne Rich, one of America's foremost poets and feminists, has put together some of her most important pieces. It is an intensely personal book, punctuated by some of her poetry, and delves into our way of life and her thoughts about how our world is ordered. Excellent book by one of our most thoughtful intellectuals, who happens to be a woman.
