I ordered my own copy of this book because I witnessed my son's life changed and hugely enriched because he received this book "in time," studied it, and put it's information to good use! The author maps out an organized plan based on commonsense and Biblical principles for a young person to plan a successful future. He teaches how to invest in relationships, thought processes, and activities that protect their future and inspires the reader with colorful real-life and often personal examples. This is not a stuffy religious book; it is one that would intrigue any young person who wants a successful future in every department of his life. Since reading this book I cannot promote it enough. The information is not too late for a middle age adult who wants to improve the quality of their life, relationships, and future.

Written to help teens and young adults move into adulthood with purpose and direction.

Dr. James Dobson is known for his excellent Christian parenting books, this being one of them.

Excellent!

This book is great for a teen heading off to college (when I originally received it). It points out the things that are most important in life and helps give some introspect into how you can help from getting sucked into things such as sex before marriage, careless dating, letting a career overrun your life, etc., and lose sight of God.
