My Life in and out of the Rough The Truth Behind All That Bull You Think You Know About Me
Author: John Daly
Ever since his astonishing victory in the 1991 PGA Championship, John Daly has enthralled fans with his big drives, bigger personality, and his "grip it and rip it" approach to golf . . . and to life. Usually seen with a cigarette dangling from his lip, Long John is the unchained, unpredictable, unapologetic bad boy of professional golf. My...  more » is the thrillingly—and sometimes shockingly—candid memoir of a larger-than-life athlete battling assorted addictions (alcohol, gambling, chocolate, sex), his weight, and divorce lawyers (having been married four times). A frank autobiography by one of golf's most talented PGA members, who is also one of the most self-destructive. John shares his version of his life story including substance abuse, marriage and divorce, the tour, gambling, and most other vices. And after all, isn't it his version that matters? Daly comes across as truthful and open, despite the reader wanting to grab him and shake him silly from time to time. Good read, and best of luck to this man.

John Daly is a true character. It is amazing that he is still in one piece and he admits it! Good fast read.
