If you have been following my dramatic week.

Good News

I received 3 Great books yesterday(friday)   & 2 more Great books today(Saturday)

The good people here far outweigh the unpleasant ones.

Yes, I think they do outnumber the less pleasant. If we all posted on the great transactions we'd be flooding the forums - those bad ones sure do make an impact, though, and it's good to have a place to vent because we can all relate in one way or another.

I received a heavy trade book earlier this week in a large manila envelope. One strip of shipping tape across the flap but nowhere else. There were 2 rips in the envelope and it was by sheer good luck the weight of the book combined with multiple handlings along the way didn't result in major damage or loss of the book.

It's a WL book I've been waiting for for over a year and was thrilled to finally be #1, I would have been very unhappy if it had turned into a RWAP - knowing what kind of stress can be involved with that type of transaction.

I'm glad the good times are out weighing the bad!

When I have a good transaction/deal, I fill out the survey letting the person know that I appreciated receiving the book they sent.  Escpecially if the book was an eargerly anticipated book to add to a series or a WL book.

I haven't had a bad streak in awhile *knocks on wood*, and I know how stressful it can be when one happens. I'm glad things are turning around for you!

I have had a few rough transactions here but can definitely say that those are the minority. I am delighted and grateful that I found PBS because it has opened up new genre's to me, helped me find books that I would not have known about but ended up loving, and given me access to books that I could not have afforded to purchase (due to the sheer numbers of them). Hats off to this wonderful site and its' creators!
