I just finished the first one, and I had read the 5th one already. I like it, but I don't think the writing is as great as other cozies I have read. Maybe it is the difference between a man writing and a woman? What do you think of it? I have the 1st one on my shelf if anyone is interested. |

Mary - have you read the Elizabeth Bright card making series? |

Mary - I've read all of them, plus his other series (a candle shop, and a specialty soap store)...and the custom card shop that he writes as "Elizabeth Bright". They are all VERY light cozies. You could also interchange all the characters from all the series and they would all seem the same...if you know what I mean :) I read them though, because I enjoy the different settings.

I just finished the series.I really enjoyed the 1st few.Sometimes a quick light mystery is just what you want.If more came out I would probably read them but the thrill is gone. |

I have not read the card making series. I like the setting of the lighthouse ones but the writing is just getting to me for some reason. |

I love the Candle Shoppe mysteries the best so far. I've started the Soapmaking ones, but don't really care for the style of writing for some reason, either. I'm interested in the others but have to make room for them first :) |

Elizabeth Bright is Tim Myers? wow. I didn't know that. Noticed a dedication to Tim Myers in the latest Card Shop mystery...duh! :) |
