The back text of this book does not do this book justice. The main evil character was named "The Lord of Lies" in this book. That, plus the really non-descript wording of the back cover did not entice me to read this book. I found myself reading it on a night when i had no other books available. I am Very Glad that I did read this book!

Valashu Elahad, the main character who is to save the world from the dreaded evil of the man they call the "The Lord of Lies", is definitely a great hero to which saves this book and finds yourself willing him on his quest. In this great quest, their is a band of friends that join with him to find the firestone. And when their quest truly beegins, this is where the books story really picks up and starts to very interesting with their adventures. Up until that point, it lagged somewhat. The small band of hereos makes you believe that anything is possible with their quest and you start rooting for them in their adventures.

I really enjoyed this book and so will you!
